Like or Loathe? Lace up Flat Shoes

I'm a heels girl through and through. I wear heels everyday (even when not overly practical) and have always struggled with finding a pair of flat shoes that suit my style.

With a holiday on the horizon I want to purchase a pair of comfortable shoes I can wear during the trip with plenty of time to wear them in. Enter, the flat shoe dilemma.

I have no idea what looks good or are easy to style! Arghhhhh!

I'm looking for something that can be paired with mostly jeans and pants (as it will be winter), but that will look cute over some tights.

What do you think of these? I like the colours but think they could be a little skinny looking?

I think I prefer this one which is a little dressier

Help! What brands/styles do you recommend? Send me links please!

  1. Hi Cassandra, I hear you. I was a heels girl for ages but have started the switch to loafers and love them. Check out Fox in Flats who has lots of tips for how to wear brogues and styles - http://www.foxinflats.com.au/tag/brogues/ x

  2. I am a flats girl but lace up shoes like these are a bit too vintage/old-school for my liking. I do love loafers though! Tammerly @ Spoilt

  3. I LOVE lace up flats! Imagine wearing them with skater dresses/skirts! Or dresses period. Or even skinny jeans and skinny pants! I know I've bought the oxfords and love them - they're similar to these but with cut-out patterns at the top. LOVE!! :)

  4. The tan brogue is gorgeous and versatile :) Since being a mum I mostly wear flats, I love my Saltwater sandals, so comfy! Heels are something I reserve for date nights and special occasions

    1. I think the tan brogue is a winner! I asked my husband and he likes the bright red one, I think he is a little braver than me!
